Who runs Atlas, how we handle commissions, copyright, accessibility, complaints and security reports.
1. Company details

Company registration number:

Atlas (Brandmark Atlas) is a service of the company above. Our main business website is brandmarkenya.com.
2. Commissions and sponsored content
Some links on Atlas may be affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy after clicking, at no extra cost to you. Sellers may in future pay to be featured or to have listings verified. Where that happens, we will label the content clearly (for example “Sponsored” or “Partner”) and it will not change how landed costs are calculated. If there is no such label, a listing has not been paid for. At the time this notice was last updated, we had not placed any paid or affiliate links.
3. Copyright and trademarks
The Atlas software, design, text and compilation of data are © Brandmark Systems Limited. All rights reserved except as our Terms of Service allow. “Brandmark” and the Atlas logo are marks of the company. Other names, logos and brands shown are the property of their owners and are used only to identify products or sellers. Their use does not mean the owner sponsors or endorses us.
4. Report or take down content
If you are a rights holder, seller or other person and believe content on Atlas infringes your rights, is inaccurate, or should not appear, tell us using the takedown form or by email. Please include:
- who you are and how to reach you;
- the page or listing concerned (a link helps);
- what you say is wrong, and what right or fact you rely on;
- a statement that you are acting in good faith and that your information is accurate.
We will acknowledge within 5 working days, and we may remove or correct the content while we look into it. We may share your notice with the person who supplied the content. False or abusive notices may be rejected. We may also remove content that breaks our terms or the law.
5. Data sources and attribution
Exchange rates come from ExchangeRate-API (open access). Listing details come from public seller pages, price reports sent to us and our own checks. Duty and tax settings are our own indicative figures, informed by public Kenya Revenue Authority and EAC sources.
6. Accessibility
We want Atlas to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboards or small screens. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA, though we have not been independently audited and some parts may fall short. If something is hard to use, please tell us through the Contact page and we will try to fix it or give you the information another way.
7. Complaints
- Contact us by email or through the Contact page, saying what went wrong and what you would like us to do.
- We will acknowledge within 5 working days and aim to give a full answer within 30 days.
- If you are not satisfied, you may take the matter to the relevant regulator: for personal data, the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner; for consumer concerns, the Competition Authority of Kenya; or to the courts.
8. Report a security problem
If you find a weakness in Atlas, please tell us privately by email before sharing it publicly, with enough detail for us to reproduce it. Please do not access other people’s data, disrupt the service or test beyond what is needed to show the problem. We will thank you and fix confirmed issues promptly. We do not currently offer a paid bounty.
